We serve fresh and tasty South Indian and Sri Lankan food to suit your event style, location and budget, from street food stalls to restaurant pop ups, weddings and private dinners.


Every event, from family gatherings to canapé parties and birthdays, is unique and we will create a bold and creative menu for your style, location and budget.

Our catering menus are seasonal and we serve delicious dishes like Sri Lankan puttu, steamed cylinders of rice, spinach, red onions and spices, and appam also known as hoppers, savoury pancakes made from a fermented rice and coconut batter, alongside speciality Tamil curries. Our wedding service is for parties of all sizes, from intimate to grand. Whether you have travelled in South India before, are planning your honeymoon to Sri Lanka or just want to try a fresh catering experience for your wedding day, we can provide a selection of unique canapés, artisanal dishes and sublime desserts.

Pop ups and residencies

Papi’s Pickles has popped up in wonderful venues across London, such as Brixton Village, Maida Hill Place, the Lido Café, Bread Street Kitchen, Cinnamon Kitchen and Borough Market. Our menus include South Indian Summer Eats, Sri Lankan Short Eats and a Tiffin and Dosa Bar, where we use the best ingredients in delicious and creative ways to delight our diners.

Street food

Our stall is available for hire for markets, parties and weddings for your South Indian and Sri Lankan street food fix. Our menus feature Sri Lankan mutton rolls with yoghurt and mint sauce, edible chaat bowls, our famous masal dosa with Bengal gram dhal chutney, uthappam stacks – dense South Indian savoury pancakes topped with a range of fillings, and desserts like kulfi + jelabi – Indian ice-cream made from milk, pistachios and demerara sugar, served with jelabi, a crunchy wafer soaked in a sugar syrup.
